Dauchenbeck Garden Centre in Stein – Where Modern Garden Culture Takes Root
Founded in 1985, the family-run Dauchenbeck company has long been a respected name in Germany’s garden retail sector. With the opening of its new location in Stein near Nuremberg in March 2018, Dauchenbeck set a bold new standard: a garden centre that doesn’t just sell plants—it inspires.

One of Seebauer’s greatest strengths lies in its extensive in-house plant production. From summer and autumn flowers to roses, perennials, and even Christmas stars—Seebauer cultivates a wide range of plants tailored to the Bavarian climate and soil. Nestled in the heart of Bavaria, Garten-Land Wohlhüter in Gundelfingen an der Donau is a true gem of the German garden retail scene. Carefully selected as one of the featured destinations of the IGCA 2026 Congress, this centre offers a delightful mix of horticultural expertise, regional flair, and heartfelt hospitality.
As part of the IGCA 2026 itinerary, Garten-Land Wohlhüter will host our official Garden Centre Oktoberfest—a lively evening filled with Bavarian music, traditional food, and festive spirit. Expect a “Mordsgaudi” (a whole lot of fun) as international guests come together to celebrate garden culture the Bavarian way!

Located in the green district of Untermenzing, Pflanzen-Kölle Munich offers far more than just retail space—it’s a destination for garden lovers and families alike. As part of a long-standing family business headquartered in Heilbronn, Pflanzen-Kölle combines over 200 years of horticultural tradition with modern retail and sustainable innovation.

Founded in 1818 as an ornamental and commercial nursery in Ulm, Pflanzen-Kölle has grown into one of Germany’s leading garden centre chains. With 13 locations and two in-house nurseries, the company stands for quality, customer focus, and ecological responsibility. Kutter Garden Centre – Tradition and Innovation in the Allgäu
Located in Kempten, Kutter Garden Centre represents a new flagship for garden retail in southern Germany. Opening in spring 2026, this spacious, light-filled centre offers 7,000 m² of sales area dedicated to plants, garden products, and outdoor living.
With over 100 years of horticultural expertise and its own tree nursery, Kutter combines regional plant production with modern retail design. Visitors can expect a wide plant selection, stylish garden furniture, expert advice, and a welcoming bistro—all under one roof.
